Design and Experimental Analysis of Seismic Isolation Bearings for Nuclear Power Plant Containment Structures

The aim of this study was to further research the mechanical properties epoxy thick-layer rubber isolation bearings, adopting orthogonal design and efficacy coefficient methods in order optimize geometric dimensions material parameters bearing, summarizing influence various factors on overall performance indicators determining optimal plan through parameter adjustment. Through a combination experiments simulations, fundamental characteristics bearings are studied determine law vertical pressure their horizontal stiffness, damping ratio. analysis results suggest that plate bearing exhibits stable deformation ability possesses distinctive characteristics. Furthermore, it is observed stiffness these gradually diminishes as increases. When shear displacement reaches 80 mm, there notable strengthening effect bearing. This phenomenon proves advantageous preventing damage due excessive displacement; furthermore, noteworthy ratio increased with rise pressure.
